    When we compare the minitrends with the longer ones, the best definition that strcikes the mind is that minitrends have something to do with short-term planning whereas the other involve long term planning. Now minitrends can generate a big revenue in the short term but ofcourse for a short while. The longer trends require a long term planning and do not generate profit instantly. As compared to the minitrends, they may require a longer period to generate profit.
