    To get Ordinary Statutory Paternity Pay (OSPP) or Additional Statutory Paternity Pay (ASPP) you must be 1 of the following: the biological father of the child the mother’s husband or partner (including same-s*x relationships) the child’s adopter the husband or partner (including same-s*x relationships) of the child’s adopter You must have worked for your employer for at least 26 weeks without a break by either: the end of the 15th week before the start of the week when your baby is due the end of the week you’re told you’re matched with your adopted child the date your child enters the UK (if you’re adopting from overseas) You must also: be earning an average of at least £107 a week (before tax) continue to work for that employer without a break up to the date the child is born, placed for adoption or enters the UK (overseas adoptions only)
