Home Theater Reciever noise after subwoofer damaged?

by Guest1995  | earlier | Views: 21 | Answers / Discussions: 3
My surround speakers which are connceted to my Sony 444ES Home Theater Reciever are making noise after my subwoofer got damaged due to not being connected to a surge protector after lightning struck. I've replaced all of my speakers since then and noticed that when I deactivate the subwoofer from the Recievers settings the noise stops but when reactivating it, estarts. What is the cause of this or what needs to be repaired. Any help will be gladly appreciated.

blown fuse or if its a low constand ring could be an issue with the ground in the amp.. the issue is in the amp 100% usually there are 2 internal fuses inside audio amps that can be replaced too. if you dont have a warranty.
