    The fabulous history of India is dating back at least 5000 years ago, while the civilization in India has been a rich and complex mix of peoples and with several religions. The history of India starts with Harappa and Mohenjodaro, which were the old Indian cities that existed between 3000 and 1500 BC. Excavated remains indicate that these cities were well organized with brick structures, wide streets, and underground water systems. Several copper, bronze, and pottery goods were recovered along with the gold and silver jewelry items. Seals with writing on them were also discovered but archeologists could not understand these writings. The ancient urban civilization in the history of India therefore remains partly a mystery for the rest of world..

   Brahminism, Buddhism, Jainism and Hinduism all established here in a series of kingdoms and empires. The Gupta dynasty ruled in north India,during the golden age of two hundred years ago. The Sultanate of Delhi was developed in 1206, starting a period in the history of India when the ruler from the throne at Delhi was considered very significant. The Sultanate organized to withstand repeated Mongol invasions and as a result they succeeded in bringing together nearly in the entire India. But the Sultanate of Delhi was weakened by the influences of internal rebellion, especially when joined with the attack of Timur Leng in 1398.
