Hi, my sgh-d980 touchscreen does not respond. It worked fine all day and suddenly the touch screen refuses to respond. I removed sim cards and battery, but still nothing. Can you please assist?

    I opened it and inserted a cable that was not properly fixed. It's orange with black at the top of the phone. Esasy thing to do...

    I have the same problem and sent the phone to Samsung Service Center. They later came back to me saying that the touch screen needed to be replaced. Luckily my phone is still under warranty.
