   O.K. So you want this ferret? First of, all they are a lot of responsibility and a long time commitment. Yes the make great pets and are lots of fun and bring you joy.They also require a lot of attention and take over your house. I am just giving you the facts.They can fit into and under small spaces so you will need to "childproof" your entire house. you will need a large cage equipped with a hammock (for sleeping) and a litterbox for pooping. You will need to train him .They cannot go outside without a leash ( a harness made especially for ferrets).They will need shots even though i never got them for mine 'cause he seldon went out side.Then of course if your family goes on vacation you will need someone to take care of him and be willing to spend time at your house to play with him for a few hours each day. They do sleep a lot on average about 12-16 hrs a day depending on your little guys activities. I had my Sammy (he was an albino with pink eyes) for about 6 years and have NO REGRETS> He was my baby boy and I miss him. So, mom and dad if you like animals, a ferret is a great choice for a pet.They like shiny objects and like to play hide and seek with their toys,run like the wind and jump up and down like a child.They can be quite entertaining.Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions o.k.?
