Has anyone been on hols to Cuba in October? recommend? will weather be hot and sunny?

   Hi, visited Santiago di Cuba in October, it was hot but sunny and fortunately there were no storms that year, It's like florida, a case of hit and miss. Some years they are in the eye of the storm, another year it can be glorious during October. If you're staying in Holguin or Gauardelavaca I would not bother going to Havana, you'll have to take a flight or a 10 hour rail journey. Instead why not explore the beautiful east coast?. Rent a car for a day or two, or even some bicycles and explore Baracoa and the region around there, it is stunning, and very tropical. You could spend a day in Santiago di Cuba which is the spiritual home of Salsa. It's a beautiful city with some wonderful architecture and museums. You could visit the Bacardi museum and casa de la trova or casa de la musica. You are never far from music in Santiago, it reverberates to a salsa beat. Have a wonderful vacatrion. I know you will love Cuba, most of us who visit do. Hope it helps
