Jorge Posada was a great Yankee but last night's game was not his best. I have heard that he has left the game forever. Any ideas?

After the loss of the game on 6th October is believed that Jorge Posada, a team stalwart, could have played his final game as a Yankee. In the game, Posada got a hit off Doug Fister. When Russell Martin lined a ball into the left center field gap, Posada lumbered to third and later he got struck out twice later in the game and looked very bad doing so.
Jorge Posada had 344 at-bats in 2011. He struck out 76 times or far more than once every five times at bat. He played in his 122nd career playoff game, moving into second place all-time and trailing only Jeter's 149 games.
