The poll, published in Tuesday's Australian newspaper, shows Labor leading the coalition 51-49 on a two-party preferred basis, the first time Labor has been in front since November last year. Federal Labor has bounced back from its record poll low, clawing back six points on its primary vote. The poll gives Labor 36 per cent of the primary vote (up from 30 two weeks ago), compared with the coalition on 40 per cent (down from 45). The poll shows Greens primary support at 12 per cent, down from 15 per cent two weeks ago and roughly comparable to the 11.8 per cent polled at the election last year.
