I AM USING XP SP2 PACK.I HAVE COMPAQ NOTEBOOK.MY 2 USB PORTS ARE DEAD AS THEY DONT RESPOND TO ANY HARDWARE I CONNECT[POWER SURGE PROBLEM]  NO POWER IS DETECTED ON THESE 2 PORTS..
