Gold ring markings 3, 2, 1 what do they mean

i have a gold ring that was given to me it has 3 diamonds in a crown setting its kinda tarnished so the only markings i can make out are a 2 and 1 under the crown setting but possibly a 3 next to the 2 what do they mean
