I am looking for a black/white movie i saw about 35 years ago. It was about a woman whose husband really loved her, but never had the peace or believed that he really did. He did everything to convince her, but she never believed it. articlespeak.com/lavalife-free-trial-log-in-to-find-love-on-a-dating-site/

    Hi Mary Lou

Sorry I did not get back to you sooner. I was away for the weekend. Let me sort it out for you. I am pretty sure you are referring to a segment of a 1952 black & white, 20th Century Fox. If I am not wrong than this outstanding All Star cast film \"O. Henry's Full House\". It had five of O. Henrys short stories with \"The Gift of The Magi\", one of the longest and best remembered. It starred Jeanne Crain and Farley Granger as the young married couple. The movie is one of my favorite. And I am a big fan of this outstanding anthology.

This film was produced by the famous producer André Hakim and was directed by five separate directors from five separate screenplays, which is a record itself. Alfred Newman was the music composer and did a tremendous job. John Steinbeck narrated the film, which made a very rare on-camera appearance to elaborate each story on his own. Overall the movie was a big hit and still a lot of fans admire it. It’s one of those classics for which I can spend hours in my weekends.

I hope this is what you are looking for. Let me know if you are still confused, maybe I can provide you more on this.

I guess I have answered you very well.
