Hi There, If you want a quality flute, then Anaxa is not the brand for you. If you were just starting out on the flute, then it wouldn't matter so much, since a flute is a flute to a beginner, but since you've played before, I think you should have a better quality instrument. I haven't heard much about Anaxa flutes, either, but I know enough to know that you're better off with a company that's well known in flute circles for their products, not a no-name brand like this. There are plenty of fine silver plated flutes by reputable flute brands - Yamaha is my top choice, but their instruments are usually far more expensive than their equivalents in other brands, so I also recommend Gemeinhardt and Armstrong as cheaper, but still good alternatives. Flutes to avoid: bottom-rung band flute brands like Bundy, Buescher, and Buffet... they make decent enough student flutes, but these instruments wouldn't be right for someone like you who's not a beginner anymore. I would also avoid any flute that's made by a company who doesn't have a website. If it's a quality product, the company will have a website or somewhere where you can get easy information about them. So if they don't have at least a website, that's a red flag as far as quality is concerned. One other thing, since you haven't played the flute in a decade or so - don't buy a flute that's more than several years old. There have been so many adjustments and advancements in flute technology in terms of intonation and mechanisms that older flutes aren't as good as the new ones. A used flute that's only a few years old is a good way to save money, but I would avoid flutes that are too old. I hope this helps
