the pilot light is lite and stays lite. When you release the switch after lighting the pilot the furnance nothing happens and the pilot light stays lite

    Hi, SO board is fine. Ignitor comes on but no burner. Could be a pressure switch problem. If your furnace acts up again. Jump the two wires to your pressure switch.(black or gray circled switch. Tie the two wires that go to the switch and see what happens. A common practice for myself(not all gas techs) is to jump all 24 volt safety switches before replacing expensive ones like gas valves or boards. I hope your making sense of my typing. I tend to get carried away sometimes and its 11:53pm as I'm still waiting for the Vancouver Canucks to score in OT against The Dallas Stars going into the 4th overtime
