GMC SIERRA STARTER WONT STOP ONCE KEY IS PUT TO START POSITION, EVEN WHEN KEY IS TURNED TO OFF.

Once the battery cable is removed, it can be reattached without the starter turning, but if key is turned again the cycle repeats!
