I have a 13 fluid ounce about 10.5 liters of G.H. Mumm Reims France Extra Dry 1928 Champagne bottle manufactured as it says in New York. It has the number 93386 and as the name implies, 1928 vintage printed on its label. I would like to know if someone wants to have it so as to Trash or Treasure or even for collection.

Considering that this is a product of 1928, there is a very little chance that someone would probably be looking to buy this particular brand in these days. For this reason, one would think that this champagne for sure would simply be a trash and not a treasure as it is at least fifty years past its prime time. However, this is a nice wine that was made to drink within a few years of release. Drinking it now may be involving some element of risk as it may cause some serious damage to the liver which may result in a death. Looking at the present age, it is now well and truly 83 years old and any query regarding the taste and expiry would remain to be a question mark. The only help that could possibly be there is by logging on to www.antiquebottles.com as there might be someone looking to store such an antique item. Although there do happen to be many people who enjoy having old champagnes such as these but the only question is if it is dangerous or not.
