hey im 12 years old and i'm just going to tell you what we like...scavenger hunt..ooh ,nails hair ,amm games,competitions,movies...but whatever you do make sure she is mostly planning since you dont want to steal her spotlight of hosting!! Give them room and remember dont make it to 5 year oldish she 's a preteen she needs a cool party.Hoped i help.

umm....u ould rent a limo and have it take you to the mall and when the limo picks you back up go to and resturant and eat dinner there and go get some ice cream then go to your house and have a sleepover....hope i helped

I think you should go and rent a movie, then go back home and fix them like some popcorn and snacks. Once they finish the movie you all can play games or put in another movie =) Hope it helps.
I love going to sleepovers and heres what i'd do... Rent a movie or something, have something cool like a chocolate fountain and let the girls stay up all night. You could do rating where each person rates each other through eyes nose mouth.... then total it up and who ever get's the highest point. You could do makeover and nail paints.... Ask your daughter what she might like to do, after all it is gonna be her party. However if it's a suprise party then ask nieces and stuff what they'd do. Keep going soon you'll get it.Good look

Maybe you could take her and her friends iceskating if u have a local iceskating rink around then after that have some of her friends spend the night and order some pizza, have lots of snacks and candy and soda. Watch some scary movies! If shes the girly girl type have they can give each other makeovers so have lots of make-up and nail polish and just let them stay up all night and gossip!
wow i like boeling the movies blah blah blah and u people th swear have freaking problems young ppl go on here too and to the mother i would maybe say bowling or lazer tag facial masks pizza candy like some other ppl said idk

Put a movie on, have like nail polish magizines and other junk like that out and just let them loose. make sure they have lots of candy chips and pop. girls will find something to do ur just providing the brainstorm station.

Im going out to dinner at a hotel and then camping out at my house.It is gonna be a blast. I am twelve. I invited 8 other girls.My sister did it for her party and it rocked. We are also playing volleyball with the net at my house. The best part about it is being with all of my friends at the same time. So no matter what you do, she will love you still and know that you tried your hardest. So will her friends.

If she is the girlie type girl do things like a at home spa, doing nails, makeup, hair, and massages. Don't forget to invite the friends to do this to! And do things like fashion comps, my friends like that stuff, I'm not but she might.
If she is into more adventureistic things, maybe go go-carting or rock climbing or even a scavenger hunt! Maybe she would want to go bowling too!
Maybe if she likes finding things, a picture scavenger hunt would be cool or a real life game of clue. I did that for my 11th b-day and I loved she might when she turns 12. When you play the real game of clue, label rooms and make sure peopl take turns, going in and out of rooms think who did what and how it happened, play just like the bored game only real.

Gto a park and play a game of roundersor.......................have a oscar themed partyor.......................pick your fave singer ( mine is miley cyrus) and get a laptop or compter in the garden and go on youtube and type in a song and then instrumental and then take it in turns to sing! then at the end the birthday girl gets to pick the winner and ifit's a sleepover then take 2 people out the room dress them up as a celebrity and go back in give them 3 names of who it could be and if they are riht they get to go nextlet me know if you want more
I remembered at that age, I didn't want anything too "kidish". I wanted nailpolish, pizza, tons of sweets, games, movies, and yea those fake tattoos are always fun. Make sure though that you keep your distance.... they really like that at that age.

Movies. Girls around that age love going to the mall, hanging out, and watching movies. you dont have to take them to the movie theaters, just put in a good movie, and pocorn, and they'll have a great time.
Movies you arent for? ok, then take them to a public pool, and let them hang out, then take them home and they can stay up late, talk, and go to bed.
Too cold for the pool? maybe have like a cooking party where they all make cakes, or cookies, and fun food stuff.
Whatever you do, remeber that 12 and up (12+) are too old for a ladybug party.
lol my friend had a party like that for her 12th birthday.
for the sleepover, why not make it girly...you know with face packs, nail designing, doing each others hair. you could also rent out a chick flick type of film for them to watch...sorta like a girly night in type of thing.

Go shopping, maybe have a movie night, do makeovers, have an at-home spa. if that doesnt seem like it will work you can look up games to play at sleepovers. Also, there was this really fun americas next top model/project runway game where the kids are split into different groups, they design an outfit out of newspaper, t-shirts that aren't used anymore, bags, etc, and they put makeup on, do their hair and such and take turns being the model. there can be prizes (best hair, most creative outfit, best accesories, etc.) but i suggest giving everyone a prize so no one gets left out.
An interesting idea I have seen is a scavenger hunt at the local mall or something. I don't know how many girls will be at the party or if you have means of transportation for everyone but you make a list of things you want the girls (in teams) to take a picture of (digital camera) and the first team to complete the list wins. For example--take a picture of a purple bathing suit. Take a picture of someone wearing a hat....etc. I think that's a really cute idea. Afterwards you can have the sleepover. maybe rent a few movies and have a movie night.
