   Check the Brake switch, Mine did the same, We put in a new switch, ALL sorted now.

   Hi There, 1 - The timing of when you start it does not matter. 2 - There is no way to know if you need a modulator without testing. Many things can put the light on. Have a dealer or specialist with the Land Rover test system check it and see what's wrong. 3 - Repair kits for some parts are available, but as I said, you need to know what's wrong as it's a complex system.
