    Details of the free checked baggage allowance by Air India is as under: • First / Executive Class: Two pieces of baggage. Linear dimensions (length+ height+ width) of each piece should not exceed 158 cm (62 inches). The weight of each bag should not exceed 32 kg (70 lbs). • Economy Plus and Economy Class: Two pieces. Linear dimension (length + height+ width) of both pieces should not exceed 273 cm (107inches). Moreover, the linear dimensions of each piece should not exceed 158 cm (62inches). The weight of each bag must not exceed 23 kg (50 lbs). Child fare passengers are entitled to the same baggage allowance as adults. For infant passengers, for all classes of travel, one piece of baggage is permitted plus one collapsible stroller/carry cot/car seat. Linear dimensions (length+ height+ width) of the piece should not exceed 115 cms (45 inches). The weight of the piece should be reasonable for infant articles. Child fare passengers are entitled to the same baggage allowance by Air India as adults.
