If someone lived in a home from 2001 - 2007, moved, purchased and lived in a home for 2 1/2 years (2007-2009), then moved again and need to buy a house (end of 2009)-- can he file for the 6500 credit? Since out of the past 8 years, he lived in the first home for 5 of them?
