I dont know if this is your area. If it isnt I understand. In Chicago, in 1965, I took an Adult Education film class. Each week we saw a different short film. One was Ambrose Bierce’s Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge. Another short, fiction movie totally intrigued me. Unfortunately, I never saw mention of it again. I wish you could help me find information about it with the hopes of obtaining a DVD of it.
I believe the title was The House, or something similar. I have tried to search the internet and have not uncovered the movie. I believe it was set in the time shortly after the civil war. It was unique because all of the scenes were scrambled and failed to make sense. The scenes were totally not chronological. Viewing the film, the viewer was completely mixed up. Finally, the last scene was the missing piece of the puzzle and this scene allowed the viewer to put the whole movie together. As the curtain closed, the whole movie made sense. It was a story of love, marriage and betrayal.
