I'm hearing different responses about dogs fixed and not fixed but I have a specific question I hope can be answer correctly so I can make my decision. My husband wants to get a rottweiler or pitbull male not fixed. I want to get a female shih tzu that will be fixed. They will be bought around the same time so they will grow together. I hear people say that fixed or not, dogs will want to have s*x, then I hear that a female can not get in heat if she is fixed therefore the male dog will not try to have s*x with her. I didn't think there would be a problem with a rottweiler and a shih tzu because there so different especially in size. But some people think otherwise. Will the rottweiler (not fixed) try to get some from my little shih tzu (fixed)?
