With the hot, dry weather dehydration was a serious concern but there was only a thin stream nearby and its 'potability' was pretty dubious.  Nevertheless, it was the only source and so I filled up bottles and then boiled the HELL out of it and hoped for the best.  I've done a lot of trekking, etc...and have had purifiers with me but I'm not sure that boiling takes ALL pollutants out of contaminated water.  In short; by boiling this water (it wasn't standing water) am I in the clear or should I be worried?  Thanks for any help you can give me on this issue. reconnected all the wire units to there proper hookups. i hook up my battery and i have constant power to the truck like i turned on the first click of my ignition switch. it doesn't get the terminal hot or blow any fuses. it jsut kicks in my fuel pump and some lights on the dash. when i turn the key all the way on more lights come on my dash. it engages and disengages the starter fine and starts and runs pefect. but it wont shutoff when i turn the ignition key back to off. some lights on the dash go out but not all of them, and as i stated it keeps running. i have to disconect the coil wire to shut it off. The advance knob feels like it's not turning the film, and it's just making some feeble clicks. I opened the back to see if the reel was moving at all when the advancement knob is turned and it is only doing so sporadically. As I am inexperienced with medium format, I may have loaded the film incorrectly or something.
