The rungs at the top and bottom of the seat are decorative. At the top of the chair is a round wood “plaque” in between the decorative posts with an insignia of what looks like a crown with flowers below it. After looking at numerous websites and books from the library, the only thing I found was on rubylane.com where they showed an almost exact replica of what I have. The only difference is their’s is an arm chair. They reference it as a “hand carved Spanish chair from 1900-1920 and it’s 48.5" tall, 23" wide, 20.5" deep, and the measurement from the floor to the top of the seat is 17". Could this be from the 18th century or more likely be a replica? How much do you think these are worth? Thanks.

where can i get sponsors for my NGO?

We are looking for sponsors for a home based care project in port elizabeth in south africa. the project is working with the community and has goals of changing the many lives of people as we are dealing with vulnerables and people living with HIV and AIDS.

anu-anong mga halamang di namumulaklak?

anu-anong mga halamang di namumulaklak?

I want free visa canada for labour/cleaner/any jobs how can i get that plz refre me

I have experience in dubai three year for cleaner please send me a free visa for any visa

Can anyone tell where I will get bathroom vanities of price ranging from $1501 - $2000?

i have tableware from the 1940's it is silver plated how much would i get for this

Fake Australian driver licenses for sell, fake Canadian driver licenses for sell, fake French(France)

What are the companies that deals with lawn care in Westfied,Nora and castleton?

tiny bugs in bathtub, around window sills, and in kitchen sink. They could not get the right rear wheel to come into correct alignment unless they replaced a suspension component. (Chamber not quite right but it was close) I was told the problem would be solved by this but I needed to replace the tires again. I did replace the tires and this time they stayed pretty good for about 15,000 Km. Fuel milage numbers went up by about 7% after the wheel alignment. Now they are vibrating again. The right rear tire looks worn ( this is the wheel that they could not completely adjust) while the rest are in good shape. I think the wheel alignment is still not right and the rear suspension has been wrong from day one. Is this a common problem with the Focus? The dealers I spoke to claimed it was unusual. Is there anything that can cause the wheels to go out of balance other than misalignment?

I did some research today on the Bridgestone web site, and it seems like a normal tire weighs about 25-27 lbs, while the RFTs come in at 38 lbs.

What I'm trying to figure out is how much the extra 50 lbs of tire weight on the van affects my mileage, and whether it is worth it to switch to regular all-seasons before my current tires wear out.

i need a diagram for the drive belt on a murray widebosy riding mower 42 inch cut

i need a diagram that i can print out so i can put a new belt on my murray riding mower with a 42 inch cut

Fridgidaire Dehumidifier from Lowes model FDL50S1 and I am getting an F2 code.

The manual says it is a sensor error. I have a set of Michelins on my VW Vanagon, that are about 12 years old, pretty much garage kept, and maybe 25,000 miles on them. Lots of tread left, but last week while inspecting them prior to a weekend trip, I noticed some small splits/cracks in the sidewalls of several of the tires. Its a standard van, not the big heavy campers with all the gear and kitchen stuff.

They are the proper, reinforced sidewalls and load range for the van, but the cause, I am guessing, is their age.

The splits are horizontal to the wheels, about midway from the bead to the tread, and the largest, about 1/4 in length, the worst tire has three of these in the sidewalls. I did slide under and look at the other side of each tire and found no splits.

If I drive with these tires, am I right on the edge of them failing catastophically, or might I get by for a few thousand more miles? (I know, its a judgement and opinion call) The van gets parked in the winter, and spring is going to be a better time financially, but I don't really want to risk injury to me, or other drivers. Seems that local tire stores only want to sell me new tires, plus, the kids who run the places, aren't even as old as my van, <g> so I think their answers might be a bit skewed towards raw profit.

Should these tires be condemned right away? The longest I ever drive in a day trip is a a few hundred miles. I always check my tires at gas stations and other stops. Just wondering if you can venture an opinion, given this small amount of information.

Does the appearance of a split in a sidewall automatically indicate pending tire failure, and instant replacement? What is the failure mode? The sidewall doesn't split out, right? Its when the split tears open to the bead, and the tire comes off the wheel? Just guessing, and wondering what you can offer :-)

Thanks a lot,

Also rotating the tires does not seem to affect where the vibration is felt, it is pretty much felt throughout the truck, from the seats to the steering wheel, even my side mirrors shake. So if my pinion angle is off, what would be the fix for that?

Question -
Barry,

I have read most of the posts concerning similar problems, but I have still not been able to solve my problem. I drive a 1998 GMC Jimmy 4x4. When I first purchased this truck a year ago used, I noticed that I had some vibration at high speeds - 60-80. I thought that the problem could be bad or unbalanced tires. Recently I decided to get new tires and see if that would solve the problem. No such luck. The dealer claims that the tires are balanced and I have taken it back several times. Also they claim that I do not have a bent rim. I have also had the CV joints replaced. The vibration is really starting to become a bother. Any suggestions? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Answer -
Eddie,

Assuming the truck isn't lifted, the pinion angle could be off.

If it is lifted, that is PROBABLY the source.

It came from the factory with with 15x6 steel rims. The tires were 215/75R15. I have purchasd a set of auminum Ford rims. They are 15x7.

My truck is a 3.0 liter. The original tires were replaced under recall with a set of Goodyear Wrangler AT's. I would like to install a set of tires on the aluminum rims that are quite on the highway, and give my equal or better acceleration. The car is not very quick on short onramps. I assume I need a wider tire for the wider rim. Either 225 or 235. Ford puts a 235/75R15 tire on these rims. I was thinking a 235/70R15. I assume a larger diameter would mean slower acceleration. Someone at a tire shop said a 225 tire would work on the 7 inch rim, in which case a 225/70R15 would yield a slightly smaller diameter.

What would you recommend for better acceleration and better highway manner?

Lately this car has been making "thumping" noises somewhere from the underneath of the car on the front driver's side (you can really notice it from the brake, clutch and gas pedals) when braking to a stop, when it is in second gear, and when it is going around 55 to 60 miles a hour and it makes a strong steering wheel vibration at 75 to 80 miles a hour.
I've took it back to the dealership 4 times now. They gave the car a front-end realignment, rotated the tires (twice), balanced the tires (twice), and lately turned the front rotors, but it still has not allevate the problem yet. I am frustrated that I'm continuing to pay for all these "repairs" and these thumping noises and steering vibrations still exist. I don't know what to do now or who to turn to.
My co-worker told me she had this kind of problem before and she found out after numerous "repairs" that the reason for this was that one of her vehicle's front tire rim was cracked. Could this be the problem?

Tire size change and impact on car

Hello, I have a 2004 Honda Odyssey that has an original tire size of P225/60/R16 and a 98T rating. I have a 2002 Acura MDX that needs new tires. The OE tires for this car are 235 65/17 (either Michelin CrossTrain or Goodyear Integrity), I currently have the Goodyears. I have the opportunity to buy some 245 65/17 Michelin CrossTrains for a really great price (I care nothing about the look of bigger tires).

Would this change in size cause any problems with the cars computer calibration (transmission, speedometer, suspension, etc)? Also, will gas milage be better or worse? And would safety be decreased with this change? What do you think would Acura say?

Overall, in your opinion, do you think that saving a little on these tires is smart.

Thank you,

It is full of dents but the roof did not collapse. While the tree was on the car there was so much weight that all of the tires were flat. I have been concerned about the tires and suspension. I have had friends who know more about cars that I do and my brother who is an engineer tell me that certain parts of the suspension should be replaced as well as the tires due to the amount of weight on my car for 3 days.I was told that the weight on the car would later cause the walls of the tires to be weakened and later bubble and they could blow out. My insurance company insists that this in not the case.
Now they are telling me that my my tires are cubbing and I don't know what that is. What is cubbing? Could this have been the result of the tree on the car? Please tell me what is correct. In an additional note, they are telling me the tires are "cubbing" due to the car being out of alignment, couldn't this have been from the tree on the car?

How do you know if a wheel will fit?

Hi. I have a 92 prelude with a listed wheel size of 205/55/15. I'm looking into buying some snow wheels long distance. The wheels in question have my bolt pattern (4x115mm), but the tires on these rims are 205/60/15. Do you think these wheels will fit my car? Is it possible the lug bolt holes would be too small?

I don't know if this is really a technical question or not. I need to preserve a nearly new set of "Double Eagles Tires". I want to prreserve them for the Classic Car market. Ok.. I've checked the handbook and it says tyre pressures for up to 3 persons = Front 38psi, Rear 35psi.

That's obviously a bit higher than 35psi for the fronts. Will it be ok if i just reduce the front tyre pressure to 35psi?

-----Question-----
My car come factory fitted with 225/40 Dunlop Sport SP01 Extra Load Tyres. They have all been changed to 225/40 Dunlop Sport 9000 tyres (not extra load). Will this cause any issues or problems?
-----Answer-----
Kevin,

Perhaps!

Standard Load tires have a certain amount of load carrying capacity and the maximum load carrying capacity occurs at about 35 psi.

Extra Load tires have more capacity but they acheive this by using more inflation pressure. They have the same load carrying capacity as Standard Load tires have at 35 psi, and have more load carrying capacity as the pressure increases - up to a maximum of 41 psi.

So the question is: What does the vehicle manufacturer say the inflation pressure is supposed to be? This should be listed on a sticker commonly called the placard. The placard is usually located on a doorpost or in the glove box.

If the placard calls for 35 psi or lower, then this is not a problem. But if the placard calls for more than 35 psi, then it is a problem and you need to fix it immediately. Overloaded tire failure can sometimes have tragic results.

Half worn and new rotating tires

Would you recommend rotating tires in the usual manner with one new tire and three half-worn tires?

Tire rotation on a dually

You can find all kinds of answers to this on the internet, but I would like to know the "proper" way to rotate all six tires on a dually to get the maximum life and proper wear.

2000 Ford F250 XLT Superduty 4X4 tires.

I bought this truck to tow a 5th wheel 30' 9500 lb. travel trailer.
