Do you double up the joyces? The joyces are present joyces are your standard size and standard spaced . The box weighs roughly 200lbs and I plan on surrounding it with a fake stone finish so the weight wont be as bad as real stone. any help will be appreciated. thanks

yamang tao sa asya

Bridges. how much weight can the golden gate bridge hold?

I have an old house with a brick chimney in the center. I would like to put a freestanding wood stove in the basement and run a stainless steel liner up the flue. Is there any general rule about clearance for lumber of the building such as floor joists or rafters/trusses butting up against the brick of the chimney.

Thanks

We have (2) 5'x5' fixed glass windows exposed to an athletic field where field hockey and lacrosse are played. We are replacing the existing glass block with clear glass. The local glass vendor has suggested laminated 1/4"+1/4" tempered safety glass (9/16" overall) but he cannot guarantee it will not crack when hit by a ball. The maximum weight/size/speed of a field hockey ball is 5-3/4 ounces x 9-1/4" x 80mph. Can you calculate whether this glass application would withstand the impact of a ball without cracking? It is highly unlikely the window would receive such a direct hit so this is a "worst case scenario".

whats the purpose of the pull chain vents on left an right side of fire place
