I'm trying to determine the value of the following. I have a signed original 11" x 14" seascape that was purchased directly from the artist in 1972. Back then, my mother-in-law had put it on "layway" and was making payments. There is no date. However, on the back of the painting it says:
COPYRIGHT RESERVED
BY ALEX DZIGURSKI
PAINTER

Thanks for you help.

It is also a moody painting on glass, mother of pearl in the forefront on 2 stones, black, 2 dimensional fence upfront and far back by castle. It is nighttime but the moon is bright and sky is blue around it, and the moon and some windows of the castle also have mother of pearl in them. I just noticed for the first time in the lower left of the painting next to the front rectangular stones is a small patch of what is probably water. There are 2 large trees that frame the caste and path to the castle. The frame is ornate and probably the original but it's not heavy. I am 45 and my grandparents are long passed, and I am assuming an "Irish" connection but not sure. It isn't signed and I haven't found anything on the back but hesitate to open it up to see. Any info would be appreciated. thanks
