Question:

Any idea about Extra Load Tires?

Hi

My question is about extra load on tires. Tell me, what does exactly the vehicle manufacturer say about the inflation pressure is supposed to be? Is this should be properly listed on a sticker usually known as the placard or something else? As you know that the placard is usually located on a doorpost or in the glove box.

Now all I want to know it, if the placard calls for 35 psi or lower, then this is not a problem. But if the placard calls for more than 35 psi, then it is a problem and you need to fix it immediately. I have hear and noticed as well that overloaded tire failure can sometimes have tragic results. Tell me something more about it, as I am in a great need of some reliable information.

Thanks

    Hello

It is quite simple as it means that your car to have enough load carrying capacity you have to use an Extra Load tire at 38 psi - a Standard Load tire will never have enough capacity. The Standard Load tires need to be replaced with Extra Load tires as soon as possible.

You know I was facing the same problem, but recently I just replaced my old tires with new ones which can bear weight easily. It is quite simple and easy to replace your current tires with some heavy capacity tires. I hope you can do it on your own, but I you face any problem than do consult me.

    Thanks
