Everytime I try to connect my hitachi dmp860 to my acer laptop the files come up as read only.

How do I reverse this as I wish to add and delete files?

    You have to change the file, right click on the movie or song, and click properties, then click on read only to modify it, or advanced and click ready for archiving, and allow indexing. =)
