Question:

Every hour my grandfather clock gains a minute

I don't know what ever keeps the clock very fast. The weight doesn't have the label L,C and R. It has a broken pendulum bob. If I lowered the pendulum disc, fully lowered, it will run slow but if fully raised it will run fast.
