Epson Artisan 810 won't scan, can't find me, I'm on wired (Ethernet) network, printing works fine.

Won't "push" from scanner, nor "pull" from my computer.

    The Epson Artisan 801 scan has different settings to the print settings. Configured automatically via: | Start Menu > All Programs > Epson > Epson Scan > Scan Settings | Very simple setup and does not require you to be opening and closing ports manually.

    Open the following ports on your Windsows firewall: UDP 427 inbound TCP 139 outbound UDP 427 outbound TCP 9220 outbound UDP 161 outbound TCP 9500 outbound UDP 139 outbound TCP 9290 outbound Reboot the computer and printer. That should resolve the issue. It worked for me.
