I have a 2003 golf 1.6L 16V, 2 weeks ago the EPC light came on while driving and I got the following message "Emissions Workshop".
Now the EPC lightgoes on and off randomaly, however the car is functioning normally.
Would appreciate any hints

    im having the same problem with my 2003 jetta but it doesnt lack power or anything so ive read some forums and i think it might be the brake light switch im going to have my battery charged to see if that helps at all but you might also want to check the starter or the coil packs thats all i know about it
