Dogs and pineapple

can dogs eat pineapple or will it make them sick. my mom just fed my 60lb dog a HUGE amount of pineapple....will he get sick?

    Vets in this country actually RECOMMEND feeding dogs pineapples if they have a habit of eating their own poo. Once the pineapples get's through the bowel it develops a taste that puts dogs off. We had a problem with our pup eating the older dog's droppings, so we feed both old dog and pup pineapple. They love it. And it works for the purpose I feed it.
