The only similarities between Moyer and Maddux are that they both play in the Majors. Moyer isn't remotely a HOfer, he woudn't even make the Hall of Good.
This question gets asked at least once a day in here and once a day the same people answer with the same answers.
And since when did two whole 20 win seasons get someone in the Hall? I can name 8 pitcher right now with four or more 20 win seasons with a run less career ERA than Moyer who will never get in. Moyer isn't remotely a HOFer, not even close (and his ERA isn't close to Maddux's either).
PS, folks this guy is just a troll. Look at all his quesitons. He asks stupid questions like this to get a rise out of people. He's asked this question in here a few times. Look at his other questions down farther. He's just a troll.
ya man
its hard to argue with the numbers when ur talking about the hall
Don't put the man in the position of having to compare with Greg Maddux. They are worlds apart. Not to deny him credit for having a nice career, but Moyer is not even close to being a Hall of Famer.
I'm an M's fan and Moyer was great for most of his time in Seattle...but he's definitely not a Hall-of-Famer.
not as much a fireballer tim wakefield ......
When they let in Bert Blyleven, Lee Smith, Jack Smith and Tommy John, then you can let in Moyer
Nah i don't think Moyer will make the HOF.
No. He is not that similar to Maddux. I would compare him much more to David Wells. Their stats are much more similar

Moyer is barely a poor-man's Maddux. Solid, successful career, but no Hall of Fame.
I also find it tough to take this seriously, since I assume you were joking too (would've been better to call Wakefield a fireballer, I actually saw him get his "fastball" past somebody the other day).
No... 300 wins should still be the standard.
Fireballer? Not unless he soaks one in butane and lights it up.
Moyer is no HOFer. He has only three seasons which barely rise to the minimum level of being Hall-class (and to be brutally honest, they don't quite reach that high).
yes he should go into the hall he was great for the mariners if he gets 250 wins he will be in
{i hope}
