Does anyone know anything about "sim not found/ready error message?. I just got a sidekick1

I just got a sidekick1 and it says "Sim Not ready" but my card is fine. How do i fix it so that it reads my card?

    Hi there! If you are sure that your sim card OK then most probably there is a problem in the software. Check it out by refreshing the software. if it still does not work then there could be a problem in the sim connector of your cell. I think the sim is not connecting properly to its connector. You should get sim connector replaced. Hope it helps Best of Luck
