Does Bahria University set more difficult examinations?

   If your cousin is already in Bahria university you would already know that the studies are semester based so that means a couple things like finals, mids, assignments etc combine to make up for the total score of each subject. The division of the marks are somewhat like 50 marks for the final, 20 marks for the mids and 30 for internals. So it is important to perform in each one to get good grades. One bad day can have a bad effect on your grades and that is the tough part. As far as the exams getting tougher is concerned, it is true to some extent because as you progress in the degree the course content gets advanced and it is suppose to be harder than the beginner level. Plus it depends on your teacher and the school of thought he belongs to.

    But the problem is their criteria is tough enough to get an A in any course.

   Marking division of a course is like this
   20 marks Mid
   30 marks are set for internals (quiz + assignment + presentation )
   50 marks are for Finals exams
   Why the criteria are hard is because of internal exam, students can maintain the marks in the mid and final papers, but they cannot maintain their numbers in Internals

    According to my knowledge not the Bahria University do not set more difficult examinations, it also depends upon the teachers, what criteria they follow.
