I have my question regarding putting a fan belt on 1.4 liter SB Barina. I have been driving from quite a while now. As I am a quite a new driver so I do not happen to have much knowledge about some of the automobile features from the maintenance point of view. For this reason, I would want to know about how put a fan belt on 1.4 liter SB Barina.

Fan belts are used to turn the fan in an automobile to cool off your radiator, or in a computer to pull cool air into the motor to keep it from overheating. The Holden Barina is a subcompact automobile sold since 1985 by Holden, the Australian arm of General Motors (GM). Each of the five generations have been badge-engineered versions of GM vehicles: Suzuki Cultus, Opel Corsa, and Daewoo Kalos. The third generation SB Barina was based on the Opel Corsa B and imported from Spain. It was released in 1994 and was offered as a three- or five-door hatchback. Engine choices were a 1.2 and 1.4 liter four-cylinder engine. Sometimes all what is required is changing the fan belt which is not very difficult. By putting the belt on the upper pulley, with the help of a rope, simply pull the other pulley up and make the belt grip it properly. Make sure that the belt has gripped both the upper and lower pulley firmly.

There seems to be a part missing which is the tensioner as far as I can see. There isn't a manual to check how the belt goes on and tensions. I think there should be a tensioner ocoming off the alternator
