No, panda cannot survive in tropical forests. Panda lives at elevations of 1300–3000m in western mountain ranges of central China, mainly in Sichuan province, but also in the Shaanxi and Gansu provinces where weather is cold in winter and mild in summer. Panda cannot tolerate humid temperature of tropical forests. It is hard for them to survive in such conditions where weather is not favorable for them.
Pandas are Endangered species and at the edge to be extinct due to many factors. Giant panda survival is imperiled by habitat loss, low breeding rates and diminishing population.

    • Extinct - remaining member of species is supposed to have died.
    • Extinct in the Wild - Captives survive and natural population has died.
    • Critically Endangered - An extremely high danger of current extinction.
    • Endangered Species - A very high danger of extinction in the near future.

No, Pandas do not live in the tropical forests. They live in the central-western and south western China. Panda is also known as the giant panda, it is black and white in color. Panda belongs to the family of bears. Although Pandas are carnivores but their diet 99% compromises of Bamboo. Panda has served as the national emblem of China in the recent years. Its image appears on a large number of modern Chinese commemorative silver, gold, and platinum coins. Though the panda is often assumed to be docile, it has been known to attack humans, presumably out of irritation rather than predation.
A panda is easily recognizable due to its black patches around the eyes, over the ears, and across its round body. Adults measure around 1.5 meters (5 ft) long and around 75 centimeters (2 ft 6 in) tall at the shoulder. Males can weigh up to 150 kilograms (330 lb). Females (generally 10–20% smaller than males) can weigh up to 125 kilograms (280 lb).
Despite the shared name, habitat type, and diet, as well as a unique enlarged bone called the pseudo thumb (which helps them grip the bamboo shoots they eat), the giant panda and red panda are only distantly related.
