Diamond gold ring

I have a diamond gold princess ring with 925 and a symbol in it and im wondering what this means? the symbol almost looks like a crown with a heart on top but im not sure. Can u give me an idea if this ring is real gold? Thank u

    If the ring is white gold then the bad news is that it isnt gold at all. 925 is a popular marking for silver. It means it is 925 parts of 1000 pure silver. The marking is probably the makers mark of the company that made it. Probably a Brittish company.
