Hi there. I am from the US and I have a question. We have a wonderful Middle School (grade 8) student that has moved into our community from Ghana. She does not speak any English, and we are trying to figure out how to give her a diagnostic math test, to see where her skills are. We can give her computational questions, but as we all know there is more to math than that. We want to see how well she problem solves, but of course our test is all in English. Do you have anything we can use for her or any ideas to share? Also, what is the native language of Ghana? Is there just one? Thank you in advance.
