    It has been seen that in most matches played in India, the dew factor has often come under discussion. This has proved to be very much surprising that whenever India were to chase a target, the opponents had to carry towels along with them. Contrast to this, when the Indian bowlers had to defend a total as they did in the second semi-final against Pakistan, there was no dew factor seen whatsoever. Perhaps the dew on the ground also needed permission of the Indian cricketers to be or not to be on Indian cricket grounds.
