    Hi, By train it is 24 hours from HK to Beijing so there are no day trips. Train is the cheapest way to get there but if you are looking at flying then maybe checkout lastminute.com for flight details. Flying from HK to other places on the mainland is more expensive compared to flying from Guangzhou or Shenzhen.
