How can I fix disc error of Avion DVD recorder?

I have a Avion dvd 100 recorder. It worked fine for a couple of years. Now when I put in the recommended DVD+R disc and press record a disc error comes up and it stops. I&#39;ve tried the very expensive Staples DVD disk, and Memorex neither work. HELP!?

You need to change the lens of the DVD recorder. Otherwise, it will not work properly.

Secondly, always insert DVD after removing dust or other particles from DVD.

i have had the same problem ,,,try a good disk cleaner...the machine seems to collect alot of dust. or get cleaned by a prof. cleaner company
