I have an 18X36 inground pool with an earth DTE filter.
Can you please advise me how I would know when to backwash and therefore clean out the DTE filter and add 6 more pounds of powder into it through the skimmerduring the open pool season here in the Boston area. Also the aluminum coping around my pool needs painting. The color is white. I cannot get a good answer at the paint stores as to the type of paint I would need to purchase to do over aluminum and that is waterproof? Any advice/help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
