I have a DSC Power 832 PC5508
The trouble light is on, and after I press *2 to check, "1" lights up.
I am moving from my residence soon, I am not looking to change the battery.
However, the beeping every 10 secs keeps coming back on every 20-30 mins, it is really annoying...how do I turn it off???

Please help.

    CHECK THE END OF THE LINE RESISTORS TO SEE IF THEIR VALUES HAVE CHANGED. A BAD RESISTOR MAY BE THE CAUSE OF THIS. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ON MY 2-WIRE SMOKE DETECTOR LOOP. I REPLACED THE RESISTOR AND THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED. I RECOMMEND HAVING SENSITIVITY TESTING PERFORMED ON YOUR SMOKE DETECTORS PRIOR TO SELLING YOUR HOME IF YOU HAVE SMOKE DETECTORS ON YOUR SYSTEM.
