Who usually hits the ball longer - a cricket player with his flat bat or a baseball player who uses a round bat?

    nope, the ball is thrown harder in baseball therefore less effort is required to hit the ball far. You use the kinetic energy of the ball to make it travel far. In baseball you must swing faster not harder.

    both bats cn hit a similar length but if the ball in properly middled on the cricket ball then relatively less effort is required to hit the ball faraway when compared to a baseball bat on a similar hit length
