3rd ODI: Pakistan v West Indies at Abu Dhabi, Nov 16, 2008

Pakistan is up 2-0, West Indies will work hard to make sure its not whitewash.

We're just about ready for the start. Marshall makes his first nervous steps as West Indies' makeshift keeper. Powell has the new ball. Salman Butt will take strike. Two slips. ON ON

Toss (14.50) Pakistan have won the toss and will bat first.

Teams: Shoaib Akthar sits out again, Pakistan are unchanged. West Indies have made just the one change, swapping Carlton Baugh for Brendan Nash. Xavier Marshall is the wicketkeeper today. Baugh is down with a back injury.

Pitch: Well apparently the surface today is different from the one the other night and has more grass. Shoaib Malik reckons the ball should come on to the bat better. Gayle thinks the seamers will have more assistance under lights.

West Indies made 92 runs with loss of one wicket in 19 overs. current run rate is 4.80 runs per over. At this rate as long as west indies keeps wickets they are on their way to winning this game. Chris Gayle is at 44 and Sarwan is at 32.
  3. Guest10189

  4. Guest10189
Lahore Badshahs are off to a rocking star in 6 overs with run rate of 14. i think this game is just about over unless Heroes take few wickets and take it very soon. Lahore Badshahs are 54/0 in six overs.

its time for West Indies to slap Afridi to all corners of the park.

Baker to Shahid Afridi, OUT, tried to chip it over midwicket, only managed to find Chanderpaul at deep midon. Afridi is a waste and needs to be rested for a very long time.
  7. Guest10189
I can't understand the game plan, only 4 overs left and these guys are still not doing the dance. ok this is better, Malik is gone after wasting so many balls, here comes boom boom Afridi
  8. Guest10189
Malik and huq are waiting for i don't know what. they only have 5 overs left and their are no fireworks. start hitting you dimwits, you still have lots of wickets left.
  9. Guest10190
only 7 overs are left and pakistan is at 203 at run rate of 4.68. Malik needs to pick up the speed, still the boom boom Afridi is waiting in que. West indies would try to limit pakistan to under 250

15.3 Baker to Younis Khan, 1 run, opens the face of the bat and angles it down to third man

15.4 Baker to Khurram Manzoor, 1 run, similar delivery, there's a big gap past backward point and he opens the face of the bat and picks up a single

Just a reminder, Marshall is keeping wicket today instead of Baugh who's injured. Here's Jerome Taylor, sightscreen trouble again
