Continuous Power Cycle

A couple of weeks ago I was watching my Samsung TSL3293HF before going to bed. I set the sleep timer, but after a while manually turned off the television with the remote before going to sleep. The next morning when I attempted to turn the TV on with the remote, I heard the click of the power up, but then it immediately clicked off before the picture could come up.Strange part is that the TV seems to be stuck trying to turn on. No matter how many times I press the power button on the TV itself or the remote, it keeps clicking like it is turning on then clunking off after maybe one second. The only way to stop the power cycle is to unplug the TV, and plugging it back in causes it to immediately begin cycling again.I am wondering if this sounds like a simple power supply problem or something else. The TV is still great, but probably only worth a couple of hundred dollars, and I'd like to avoid spending that much just to have a repairman do something I can do myself. I have worked on computers and cars before, but never taken a TV apart. Is replacing the power supply even what I should do?
