Supreme court in different countries follow different regulations and depending upon the country they follow their own constitutions.
For example, in Pakistan since its declaration in 1956 Supreme Court is the apex court. It is above all laws in the country. All the financial and federal matters are subject to decision by the Supreme court. Even the Presidency lies or is dependent on the decisions and the laws governed and controlled by the Supreme court. But Supreme Court can only indulge in the matter regarding improvement of proficiencies in their institution if an appeal is filed against the matter or an objection is raised.
In Australia, the High Court of Australia has become the final resort after the passing of the Australia act 1986. Each state has its own supreme court for making decisions which is also ranked the highest authoritative institution in that country.
In Bangladesh supreme court was created with the provision of the constitution in the year 1972. There are further two divisions of Supreme Court. 1) Appellate Division and the second is High court Division.
In United Kingdom the Supreme Court was established by the Constitutional Reform act in 2005. There are separate legislations which are involved in decision making for each counties.
In United States the Supreme court was established way back in the year 1789 and is ranked as the highest court and decision making authority and United States supreme court consists of total nine seats.
