    The most likely reason may be the thermocouple failing or perhaps the safety valve (red push button control at bottom)

   Thermocouples are inexpensive but come in various millivolt rating. Your best bet is to get the correct one from the factory. They can guide you on the install, very easy.  800-637-9188 ext 22
