   Christopher Maurice "Chris" Brown was born May 5, 1989. He is a very famous American R&B singer, songwriter, actor, and dancer. He started his career as a singer in late 2005 with the self-titled album Chris Brown when he was at the age of 16. The album had the hit single "Run It!", which got the top position in the Billboard Hot 100. This made him the first male artist to have his debut single top the chart after Montell Jordan in 1995. More than two million copies of the album has been sold in the United States and got the certification of double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The song features Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz, which ranked at number-twenty on the Billboard Hot 100. Brown has had produced many other hit singles, and his dance steps and routines are similar to Michael Jackson moves. In 2009, Brown found guilty to felony assault of singer Rihanna, and was punished to five years probation and six months of community service.
